Help Norfolk and Waveney ICB Shape Three Health Services in Norfolk and Waveney

The NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (NWICB) plans and healthcare services for the local population and spend £2.5 billion of public money on health services every year in Norfolk and Waveney.
There are a range of factors that are affecting finances, which include:
- The recent period of higher inflation which has made the equipment and supplies we buy more expensive.
- As we age, people are more likely to have mor than one health condition, so naturally need more treatment from the NHS.
It is not just the NHS that are feeling the pressure from cuts and increased costs. The voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors are facing similar challenges.
The NWICB want to do everything they can to make efficiencies in order to protect services that people receive, but given the changes to the NHS and challenges the region faces, they understand that they need to make changes to some services.
This is why they have developed some options about how they could use public money differently and would like to hear from you about what you think of them. The options are related to:
- The walk-in centre in Norwich
- The GP out of hours services that covers Norfolk and Waveney
- The Vulnerable Adults Service in Norwich
Find out more about these services on the NWICB website
