10 Jun 2025

The Queen Elizabeth King's Lynn Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will show the first designs of what the new hospital could look like at a series of public events, starting this week.

The new hospital will be built on the existing main car park, bringing it closer to Queen Elizabeth Way (A149).

The new design has been created by BDP, an international interdisciplinary practice of architects, engineers, designers and urbanists. BDP has a leading track record in the health and education sectors.

The new hospital is being developed using national guidance from the New Hospital Programme. As with the James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, who announced plans for its own Hospital 2.0, The Queen Elizabeth King's Lynn Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is using the same standardised blueprint.
