This one-day event at Norwich Research Park will explore how our unique environment fosters collaboration between clinical researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs, driving innovation from our successful biomedical base.
Exploring the breadth of cutting-edge health research and innovation taking place, this conference is aimed at health practitioners, industry professionals, researchers, IP professionals and investors.
Hear from our researchers about their projects and from invited speakers from Medical Research Council, National Institute for Health Research, Innovate UK as well as insights from industry (Astra Zeneca, Oxford Nanopore) and life science investors (North Star Ventures and Anglia Capital Group).
Programme
Across the programme for the day, attendees will:
- Explore our broad areas of internationally leading research activity.
- Hear about our translational research activities and how to get involved.
- Learn about the different support mechanisms for commercialising research.
- Have an opportunity to network across a range of academia and industry professionals.
Dr Mark Treherne, a member of the Innovate UK Council, a commercial research scientist for over 30 years and founder of Cambridge Drug Discovery will close the event by giving his views on raising investment and realising exits across a variety of life sciences companies.
