Expanding Community Involvement in Palliative and End of Life Care

Join our community-driven event focusing on Palliative and End of Life Care, and Bereavement support. This is a free, in-person event led by Dr Guy Peryer on the theme, "Linking up Norfolk and Waveney with the end in mind".

We'll share findings from research focused on the concept of Death Literacy, and NHS England’s Ambition Statement for improving palliative and end-of-life care across all sectors of society: ‘Each Community is Prepared to Help’.

Attendees have the opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer exchange and activities, sharing insights and learning about new evaluation approaches for social programs. We'll explore how Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) can enhance collective action.

Morning sessions will raise public awareness, while the afternoon will foster networking and community research opportunities. Don’t miss this chance to enhance Death Literacy and improve end-of-life care outcomes through participatory action research.
