Citizens Academy Conference - February 26th 2026

'Healthy People, Healthy Communities'

Date: Tuesday 24th February 2026

Location: Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich

Aim: To inspire and empower researchers and lecturers to work with communities

Keynjote speaker: Ken Clare, co-founder of Obesity Voices PPIE hub, Leeds Beckett University, executive director of the UK Coalition for People Living with Obesity and past chair of the European Coalition for People Living with Obesity

This event will include:

• Interactive workshops designed to help you work with communities
• Lived experience talks
• A live performance from community theatre group The Common Lot
• Stalls and networking opportunities
• Lunch and refreshments provided by a local community organisation
